2. Terms of Service

The Platform is intended solely for persons who are 18 or older. Any access to or use of the Platform by anyone under 18 is expressly prohibited. By accessing or using the Platform you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older.

By using the Platform, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by the terms and conditions of these Terms and Conditions of Service ("Terms"), whether or not you become a Member or user of the Services. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Platform and all Collective Content and constitute a binding legal agreement between you and SCBAOW.

If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of any other person and/or entity (including a boutique or business), you warrant and guarantee that you have the full right and authority to do so. If you do not have such authority, all your Site, Services and Platform activity will be considered a breach of these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you have no right to obtain information from or otherwise continue using the Platform.

3. Licence

By accepting these Terms, the Member is granted a limited, non-exclusive and revocable licence to access the Platform in accordance with these Terms. You agree to only use the Platform and Materials for their intended legal purposes and shall not use any or all of them to engage in any conduct that is unlawful, immoral, threatening, abusive or in a way that is deemed unreasonable by SCBAOW in its sole and unfettered discretion.

SC may revoke, suspend or terminate the Member's licence in its absolute discretion for any reason that it sees fit, including for breach of these Terms by the Member or any of its users and where a Member's ratings are not considered acceptable by us. SCBAOW will ordinarily advise the Member of any suspension or revocation, however it is under no obligation to do so. Your licence to access the Platform and Materials shall be ongoing unless terminated by SC in accordance with these Terms.

4. Disclaimer

The information contained on the Platform is provided in good faith on an "as is" basis. SCBAOW does not represent or warrant the reliability, accuracy or completeness of the information contained on the Platform or in the Collective Content.

You understand and agree that SCBAOW is not a party to any agreements entered into between the Seller and the Buyer, nor are we a broker, agent or insurer. SCBAOW has no control over:

• the content contained in any Sales Listing;
• the content contained in any Member Content;
• the existence, condition, quality, safety, legality or genuineness of any Goods;
• the truth or accuracy of any pictures or description of any Goods or any other content made available to Members;
• any discussions, negotiations and/or agreements between the Seller and the Buyer;
• any confirmed measurements sent by the Seller and/or the Buyer;
• any accuracy of the recommended retail price of the Goods;
• any negotiated price with respect to the Goods;
• the ability of Sellers to sell Goods;
• the ability of Buyers to purchase Goods;
• the ability of Buyers to pay for the Goods;
• the ability of the Seller and/or Buyer to actually complete a transaction or return Goods.

SCBAOW disclaims all liability in this regard. All sales and/or purchases are made or accepted at the Member's own risk and sold in good faith.

5. Amendments to Terms

SCBAOW reserves the right to amend these Terms from time to time. Amendments will be effective immediately upon notification on the Site or by communication via email to registered Members. Your continued use of the Platform following such notification will represent an agreement by you to be bound by these Terms as amended.

6. Member Registration

In order to access and use certain features of the Platform, you must register to create an account ("SCBAOW Account") and become a Member. During the registration process, you will be required to provide certain information, and you agree to provide accurate, current and complete information and to update such information to keep it accurate, current and complete.

SCBAOW reserves the right to suspend or terminate your Account if any information provided proves to be inaccurate, not current or incomplete. You are responsible for safeguarding your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and you take sole responsibility for any activities or actions under your account, whether or not you have authorised such activities or actions. You will immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your account.

7. Member Conduct

You understand and agree that you are solely responsible for compliance with any and all laws, rules, regulations, and tax obligations that may apply to your use of the Platform. In connection with your use of the Platform, you may not, and you agree that you will not:

• violate any local, state, national, or other law or regulation, or any order of a court;
• use manual or automated software, devices, scripts, robots or other means or processes to access, "scrape", "crawl" or "spider" any web pages or other services contained in the Platform;
• use the Platform for any commercial or other purposes that are not expressly permitted by these Terms;
• copy, store or otherwise access any information contained on the Platform for purposes not expressly permitted by these Terms;
• interfere with or damage the Platform;
• attempt to decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer any of the software used to provide the Platform;
• advocate, encourage, or assist any third party in doing any of the foregoing.

8. Fees

Sellers will be charged a listing fee as specified in the SCBAOW Seller Policy and SCBAOW does not charge a commission on the sale price. Buyers may also be responsible for additional fees, including those charged by payment providers. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or explicitly stated in SCBAOW policies.

9. Payments

Payment processing services are provided by third-party providers. By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by the applicable terms of those providers. SCBAOW is not responsible for any delays, errors or losses incurred during payment processing.

10. Delivery and Returns

Sellers are responsible for shipping Goods to Buyers in accordance with the terms stated in their Sales Listings, or for arranging collection where agreed. Buyers are responsible for any applicable shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed. Returns and refunds are subject to the Seller's individual stated policy and applicable law. SCBAOW is not responsible for disputes relating to delivery or returns.

11. Termination

SCBAOW may, at its sole discretion, terminate your account or access to the Platform at any time without notice if you breach these Terms, act unlawfully, or if it otherwise deems your conduct unacceptable. You may deactivate your SCBAOW account at any time by contacting info@scbridal.co.uk.

12. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Platform and Materials remain with SCBAOW. Members are granted a limited licence to access the Platform as outlined in Section 3. Members must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Platform or Materials without prior written consent.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SCBAOW excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with your use of the Platform, Services, or Goods purchased or sold through the Platform.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SCBAOW, its officers, directors, employees and agents, from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs or expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform or your breach of these Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
